“I would like to become the Ontario NDP Candidate because I have seen the household budget squeezed to its breaking point. Growing up in Poverty is a challenge like no other, and I believe there are actions that we can take to make life more affordable in this Province, and bring back prosperity to Ontario.  The taxpayers are tired of seeing their money mismanaged and spent on costly scandals to encourage political games.  People are tired of electing politicians who make the same old promises.  Working alongside Former MPP Peter Kormos, who is my political inspiration, has taught me that when the constituents speak, the member listens, and that’s what I intend to do.  Please lend me your support in building a better community and province.

What Steven Wants to Do:

  • Offer a tax credit to businesses that create jobs, and not ones that ship jobs down the 401.
  • Fight for a tuition freeze for post- secondary students, the future of our province, and prevent cuts to students with disabilities
  • Support a buy Ontario local Economy that supports Domestic Jobs
  • Fight for and Maintain Collective Bargaining Worker’s Rights
  • Support a Gradual Minimum Wage Increase that keeps up with the rate of Inflation
  • Stop expensive subsidies on Hydro that hurt the Household, and begin to take the HST off home essentials.

“I will fight for everyone who needs fighting for, and I will not stop until everyone’s voice is heard.  I am a fresh set of ears and eyes that is ready to get to work.”

I hope that you will consider me as your ONDP Peterborough Riding Candidate
